Welcome to our first-ever newsletter! It is something we’ve been eager to do for a while now and as our social media posts are exceeding limits – we figured now was the time. Don’t worry, we won’t be bombarding your inbox on a minute-by-minute basis. We will deliver a newsletter once a month – any other news will be right here (on our blog), or on our social media channels in real-time – well… as ‘real-time’ as we get!

Your monthly newsletter will bring you all the news from the meadery. We have lots of new and exciting things coming up – possible collaborations, new stockists, and events – and some ‘mischiefs’ that Mrs Mead is currently working on. We will also let you know what events we will be attending that month so you can come and try before you buy or collect your order and avoid those pesky delivery charges!

We will bring much anticipated special offers and early bird discounts – we have at least two Limited Edition meads that are due out this year. We also have the changeover for the Mead of the Norns (aged meads) during the summertime. We will focus on a particular product every month and include a ‘product of the month’ discount solely for newsletter subscribers.

We are back from the sixth European Mead Madness Cup with ANOTHER MEDAL – bronze for Heimdall’s Mead. This year there were over 300 commercial meads entered and 700+ overall entries, so we believe for us to win, even if it may be bronze, can speak to our greatness! Feedback from the judges was fantastic and we have a few discussions regarding exporting our meady goodness.

Along that line, in February, we did our first export and made our Swiss followers VERY happy! Nearly 600 bottles were sold in a 24-hour period and the company we worked with are looking to do another promotion later in the year.
