Honey
Description
This honey comes from hives situated in the grounds of Todd Hall, a Jacobean Manor House or Hunting Lodge, located in Lostock Hall, between Preston and Bamber Bridge.
Upon the death of the resident beekeeper after a long illness, we were offered several years of his honey stores for mead making. As the complex and deep flavours, would be lost in the fermentation process, we decided to jar it ourselves and share it with our fabulous customers. It’s perfect for cooking, baking or just spreading on toast!
This honey is unprocessed so may contain tiny particles of pollen and wax. These are not harmful to consumer or product. Pure honey can set/crystallise over time. To return to its runny consistency, gently warm by standing in a pan of hot water.
Store at room temperature. Not suitable for children under 12 months of age
