Description
This mead is a ‘Metheglin’ (herbed honey mead), using Blossom honey. It has freshly made elderflower cordial added to the fermentation process.
The elderflowers are picked by our own fair hands from a lovely spot near the meadery. Within 24 hours, they are de-stemmed and boiled into a cordial. Once cooled it is added to the honey to begin fermenting, producing a smooth and floral taste that has converted a number of non-elderflower lovers!
This flavour is a firm favourite with drinkers of Gin and Elderflower wine and champagne.
FREE FROM: Gluten, Wheat, Fish, Dairy, Sulphites, Eggs, Gelatin – suitable for vegetarians
As this is a natural product, some hazing and sedimentation is likely to occur. Leave to settle in a cool, dark place and pour carefully. This a natural part of the maturation process and is not harmful to consumer or product. In fact, it will taste even better for it and it is why we use a decanter style bottle!
