is the ‘Allfather’ in Norse mythology. He is the God of battle and also of wisdom,
magic, and poetry. His name means "fury" or "frenzy“, the
quality of fierce inspiration that guided warriors and poets alike. He is also a relentless seeker and giver of wisdom.
Tea tannins gives this traditional Metheglyn (herb mead) a deep, rich flavour, similar to aging in an oak cask. This is a firm favourite with anyone who also likes to drink Real ales, Red Wines or Whiskeys.
This is the mead that Matt Gillan used on The Great British Menu (Series 10 - All Things WI) on BBC2, the Mead in the Square Bottle.
